"Freedom, liberty, censorship, the weight of history. The West is haunted and caught up in its imperial/colonial past. The term decolonial is barely accepted in France; in the United States, land of the rule of law and claimant of the best democracy in the world, we just pay lip service to saying no in public and continue to deliver murderous weapons in private. The same goes for Canada. We can't talk about the innocent women, men and children who have died under 75 years of colonization without going back to October 7, 2023. We've forgotten the history of humanity... until the next episode."
