French grammar is often seen as tedious and difficult to learn, even though it is useful once mastered.

Associate Professor Parvin Movassat, who is also Director of Undergraduate Studies at OLBI, recently published a book on grammar entitled Grammaire : concepts et contextes with Éditions JFD publishers. This book teaches grammar by using concrete and practical examples in order to promote realistic exchanges with Francophones.

Through its learning activities, this book also shows learners that they need to consider different language registers when communicating. Watch this video to learn more about concepts behind the action-oriented approach to learning used in this book.
